The Bradford Exchange is looking for a highly motivated, Receiving Coordinator to join our organization! This position operates in our fast-paced distribution center, supporting all functions within the distribution environment including but not limited to shipping, receiving, returns, insert operations and other general warehouse operations.


What you get to do each day includes:

  • Create manifest data in excel format from our vendor's invoices and packing list.
  • Formatting the data into individual files and ensuring the accuracy of the purchase order.
  • Help sort and validate product quantities as they appear on the invoices.
  • Process receipt using PDT scanner and manually entries.
  • Proactively communicates issues to lead or supervisor.
  • Follow-up and responds to Corporate Production staff regarding product inquiries/discrepancies.
  • Works with quality control associate to ensure product standards.
  • Coordinates and schedules the movement of products throughout the warehouse including storage and shipment of high value products.
  • Implements daily production and shipping plan, arranging for excess stock to be stored in warehouse.
  • Confirms availability of high value items to be shipped by verifying inventory records or conducting inventories of required items.
  • Identifies and reports slow-moving product and with approval, arranges for the removal of the product.
  • Directs and assists forklift drivers to store goods in identified areas.
  • Manually handles, repacks, or restacks pallets of finished product as needed.
  • Documents all related activities and completes forms and reports, per reporting
  • Investigates and reports any discrepancies.
  • Validates high specialized customer accounts (MA) and maintains secure caged area inventory.
  • Assists other areas as necessary, including but not limited to Inventory Control, and Returns
  • Performs other administrative duties as assigned


Education, Licensing, Certification, and Experience

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 2-5 years overall work experience in similar industry, with a minimum of 1-year experience in an administrative environment

 Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Must be organized and detailed oriented.
  • Must be PC proficient especially in data entry, MS Office Excel, Word and outlook.
  • Must have excellent written and oral communication skills to include good English comprehension/language skills with an ability to effectively adapt resolutions with the vision of the DC.
  • Have good interpersonal skills and be able to interact with various level of staff including management, Corporate
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent customer service focused with internal and external “customers”.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and excellent time management skills.
  • Ability to multi-task in cross-functional departments
