We are hiring a Senior ETL Developer who will create, implement, and enhance ETL processes for a variety of data sources using standard SQL, SSIS or ETL equivalent tools. Apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to fully support the development process, and ensure that project deliverables are met according to specifications and within the project timelines.

How you will contribute:

  • Participate in the design, development, and analysis of data integration projects and tasks throughout the product life cycles. Locate, analyze and profile source data to assess the quality, and inform business logic. Design and execute highly complex integration workflow tasks that cover multiple business, technical, and/or application areas.
  • Contribute to database design and data modeling efforts.
  • Design and develop queries for a high-performance environment. Evaluate and fine-tuning SQL queries for performance and monitor latencies during processes.
  • Implement and monitor the deployment of data integration projects
  • Provide performance analysis and improvement guidance for ETLs
  • Identifying data quality issues and offering potential solutions to cleanse or improve data quality
  • Troubleshoot data issues, validate result sets, recommend and implement process improvements
  • Creating/updating related documentation
  • Available to provide operational support during non-standard business hours, and participate in an on-call rotation for production support of related technical systems.

 

What you will bring and skills that excite us:

  • Bachelor’s degree computer science or related
  • 7-10 years of related industry experience
  • SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
    • SSIS project design and analysis
    • Performance tuning of SSIS packages
    • Experience with most SSIS components, tasks, and transformations
    • Execute Script tasks using .net and stored procedures
  • General ETL Skills
    • Full and Incremental loads; De-duplication of records; Transforming data;
    • Creating and processing junk dimensions, bridge tables, and degenerate dimensions
    • Aggregate tables, staging, upsert/merge, surrogate key management
    • Working with an established ETL Framework or architectural model
  • SQL Server Skills & Experience (other)
    • Deploying SSIS packages, and working with Integration Services Catalog
    • Documenting SSIS packages, DB maintenance, programs and systems
    • SQL Server 2014, 2016, and above
    • Database performance & query tuning analysis
    • Database Administrator experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Participate on large, enterprise-scale projects, with diverse project teams
