We are seeking a Talent & Engagement Business Partner who will be responsible for maintaining a high quality of exempt and non-exempt employees through the recruitment and placement of the best-qualified candidates in both newly-created and open positions within the company. Provide thorough and creative market research to fully canvass and penetrate the market for the recruitment of key talent for the Company. Provide exceptional service and counsel to our internal clients and collaborate with other members of the wider HR team to assist with programs, special projects, and general department activities/initiatives. Assists in a wide range of employee engagement, retention and branding efforts that drive the overall talent strategy for the organization. Responsible for leading live training and/or hosting/facilitating training and engagement events.
How you will contribute:
Talent Acquisition & Consulting:
- Responsible for the recruitment of a wide-range of non-exempt level positions, entry level Marketing and Product Development positions, and experienced exempt positions including: sourcing potential candidates, college recruiting, employee referrals, and temporary to permanent agencies. Demonstrates a high level of effectiveness of recruiting on most positions within the organization.
- Manages candidate relationships through the full recruiting life-cycle (offers, reference checks, offer letters, background checks, etc.).
- Heavy sourcing of potential passive candidates through LinkedIn, Indeed, networking sites and events, college recruiting, employee referrals and more. Sources and builds relationships with candidates independently, both for assigned requisitions and to help build the overall candidate pipeline.
- Responsible for the management of open positions, including sourcing, interviewing and selection of candidates; following up with candidates that are not selected for employment, offers, reference checks, etc.
- Coordinate relocation of new employees as needed.
- Interact with employees regarding referrals and employee transfers.
- Continual contact with potential candidates regarding recruitment opportunities and regular contact with college placement offices to provide information concerning job postings and internships.
- Will work closely with the coordination and communication of the annual schedule for college recruiting and represent the company on-campus. Explore and coordinate new campus opportunities to drive brand awareness such as job shadow programs, internship information sessions, classroom visits, etc.
- Leverage company social recruiting tools such as social distribution, etc. to meet recruitment and branding initiatives and help develop new strategies/techniques for creative sourcing.
- Assist with the company’s employment branding and social media strategy; leverage social media channels to maximize recruiting presence and exposure to potential/passive candidates.
- Handle routine questions from employees regarding all other HR-related questions or direct them to specialists. Provide daily contact with hiring managers to provide information, updates, recommendations, and advice concerning potential candidates (e.g., salary levels, competitive marketplace information, retention strategies, etc.).
- Connect with employees to provide information regarding open positions and to solicit employee referrals.
Talent Engagement and Training Initiatives:
- Builds relationships with new employees who are recruited to the company to foster and assist with engagement and retention.
- Run new employee orientation on a bi-weekly basis.
- Lead live training sessions and engagement programs such as the companies Professional Development Program, intern events and lunch-and-learns.
- Assist with e-learning campaigns to meet mandatory training and L&D needs of the organization.
- Assist with performance and compensation review process for non-exempt and exempt employees, help coordinate various employee functions, training programs, and/or communications.
What you will bring and skills that excite us:
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a related field (HR, Organizational Development, Psychology, etc.).
- 3-5 years of successful recruitment experience required.
- High volume recruitment experience (20+ openings at a time) in a corporate or recruiting firm environment.
- A combination of experience in recruiting for: Accounting, IT, Administrative, Marketing, Creative, and more.
- Experience working with multiple hiring managers at various levels within the organization.
- Experience building candidate pipelines and talent acquisition.
- Strong sourcing and research skills highly desirable, as well as the ability and willingness to initiate cold calls and develop strong networking channels and pipeline of passive candidates.
- Some knowledge or exposure to other HR functional areas is a plus (employee relations, benefits administration, training and development, compensation, etc.).
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Must be able to work with a sense of urgency, and be passionate about recruiting, finding the right match, and adding value to an organization.
- Ability to travel overnight 4-5 times per year during college recruiting season.
- Contingency or retained search work experience is a plus.
- PHR certification is a plus.
- Familiarity with recruitment technology (ATS, social recruiting tools, etc.).

Compensation:
$70,000 - $80,000
